We are finally moving! Iam writing this while we are driving on our way to Washington for good! Only 8 more hours till were half way there! Lol we have been on the road for 4 hours, gone 200 miles, and have fed babies once! Were thinking we will stop two more times before we get to the pet friendly hotel we made reservations at...yes we have 3 of our dogs with us too!
We are so excited to finally be at one place we call home and start our new lives in sunnyside! It is very bittersweet because we will not only miss our family in southern Cali but all our family and friends in central Cali! Southern California will always be HOME to Rick and I, central California will always be the foundation of where we started our lives together, we have so many family, friends, and memories made here! Rick and I grew so much as Christians in our church, in our relationship and as a family we will be forever grateful of the 7 years that God blessed us with while we were there! Tomorrow on Valentines day ( how romantic lol) we will start our new journey in Washington!
We have no idea what God has in store for us next but we hold tight to HIS promises (romans8:28) like we always have! We have learned a lot about the word perseverance the last couple years and as I look back I think of this bible Verse that I always read when I would get discouraged ( Romans 5:3-6 not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance character, and character hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because Gods love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners Christ died for us!)not that we ever REALLY suffered but there was times while we were waiting on God in a lot of different areas and that's all we could really do was Be still and wait!
Now were driving 850 miles away with our 3 children in the back seat and think oh that was why God! Lol always easier to look BACK and see why he did the things he does! We will keep everyone updated on the move, we thank everyone for all there prayers and thoughts during this time! We will be down south to visit all our family soon, we will be back to Tulare Community Church and the central valley to see all our friends soon too! Love everyone we have been truly blessed with all our family and friends!
Wow I can't believe you're on your way! We're praying for a smooth move and easy adjustment on all of you. Let us know the next time you're down here so we can get together!
